He set school records with seven 100-yard games in a season, four consecutive 100-yard games, and 22 career touchdowns
He was named most valuable offensive player of the 2008 Insight Bowl
In 2008 Sports Illustrated named him an honorable mention All-American
He was also named to the All-Big 12 Conference second team in 2008
Had 84 receptions for 1,337 yards and 9 touchdowns and was named to the All-Big 12 Conference first team in his junior season
Ended his three-year college career as the Kansas all-time leader in receiving yards. His career totals are 208 receptions for 3,240 yards and 31 touchdowns

Thomas Gipson

Gipson started 14 games as a sophomore at Kansas State and averaged 7.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game on the Big 12 regular season co-champion
As a junior, Gipson posted 11.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game
As a senior, he averaged 11.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game 
He was a 1,000-point scorer at K-State
He is top 10 in 7 statistical categories in K-State Basketball History
He was named co-winner of the Rolando Blackman Team Most Valuable Player award 
He received the Jack Hartman Top Defensive Player and Bob Boozer Courage award
In September 2015, Gipson became a professional basketball player in Europe after signing a one-year contract with the Finnish team Kouvot. Gipson averaged 13.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game on the season
 The Kouvot won the Finnish Championship in 4-1 series 
Gipson moved to the Mexican team Halcones de Ciudad Obregón where he led his team to playoffs on a 10-1 win streak
September 2016 he moved to the French team, Élan Chalon
January 2017 Gipson joined Correcaminos Colon of the Panamanian league and averaged 8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game
He signed with the French team Boulazac Basket Dordogne on February 18, he won ProB Championship that year with Boulazac
He has played in Ukraine, Israel, Argentina, & Turkey.
Gipson is currently in his 10th season overseas.
